There is no Large rock structure in the location of 1 to serve as a Pulpit.
Pulpit 1 is the approximate location of the rock. he Pulpit is documented as being on the
Gorge Trail

If you walk the path you can't miss it

Located at the junction of Giant Slide and Maple Spring Trails
Approximate location of Pulpit Rocks 2, 3 with NPS trails both are visible from the trail.
the one upstream looks more like a pulpit than #3 although it is not as high.
